Very Small Angle Neutron Scattering to explore complex vortex structures at low field.

At very weak magnetic field in some superconductors, the Abrikosov lattice is fractured because vortex interactions become non local and attractive. It appears vortex clusters whose measurement and analysis were performed using Very Small Angle Scattering in pure Niobium. These experiments now provide access to vortex structures with large periodicities previously only accessible by local probe in the real space (magnetic decoration, magneto-optical ...) and are promising for studying exotic superconductors with competiting interactions.
